The West Wing HD?

Anyone know if "The West Wing" TV series is likely to ever be available in DVD-HD or Blu-ray?
Likewise..."The Sopranos"?

Re: The West Wing HD?

Season 7 was penned for a HD DVD release, but for some reason never happened. I know some of the later seasons were broadcast in HD in the US. Great series, have all 7 seasons on SD DVD and just started S1 last night again, so bracing myself for some marathon West Wing sessions!!

Let's hope they change their mind and release the whole series in HD...I would definitely buy it.

Were some of the early series filmed in full screen?
