Pride & Prejudice HD DVD

According to DVD Times Universal will release Pride & Prejudice (2005 version) on HD DVD in the US. Release date has been set as 13 November 2007.

What was the general opinion about this version? The 1996(?) BBC version was excellent IMHO and I'm not sure it could be improved upon. How does this one stack up compared to that?

The HD DVD release looks quite good anyway - 1080P 2.35:1 Widescreen coupled with a Dolby True HD 5.1 soundtrack

I bought it and thought it was a pretty decent film. I haven't seen any other versions though so cant compare. In High Definition it should look pretty good though given the locations etc. Dont think I will buy it though.
