The Reaping - UK blu-ray & hd-dvd
I've searched the net & these forums without finding an answer.
Can anybody please tell me if they know what sound formats the UK hd versions of The Reaping has (both released today)?
I've looked on all the sites where you can buy them from & tried dvd times ect but can't find them listed.
I rang Hmv & apparently, they will both have surround sound!

Re: The Reaping - UK blu-ray & hd-dvd
The Blu-Ray release has TrueHD. Couldn't find the HD-DVD release in HMV as well, but as Warner tends to treat both formats equal I would imagine that the HD-DVD has TrueHD also.

Re: The Reaping - UK blu-ray & hd-dvd
Saw this tonight when a friend brought it round to watch.
Absolutely appalling movie. Easily one of the worst of the year. Not even worth a £2 rental let alone a purchase.
Set in America's 'Bible Belt' and aimed at an audience with the average IQ level of its inhabitants I suspect.

Not really! Watched it last night & thought it was pretty poor.
Disagree with the_pauley about not being worth the £2 rental. Even if it was the worst film ever, it's worth the rental fee just to find out if you like it or not. I paid £18, will never watch it again but I'm not disappointed!
Anyway, one good thing though, noticed Hilary Swank has quite a fit ass!

Use the trading forums on here? At least you'd get some money back that way, or another film you may prefer.

What I meant to say was I'm not upset that I spent £18 on something that wasn't very good. I just prefer to buy than rent.
I won't be trading it, once I bought a film it stays in my collection - good or bad.

Re: The Reaping - UK blu-ray & hd-dvd
Didn't think it was that bad. Picture and sound quality made up for a lot of the problems, it was a very atmospheric film.
And yes Hilary Swank is a sexy lady!
