Looking to get 7 HD DVD Movies before christmas. Whcih 5 should i go for?
I've already got King Kong and a HD DVD sample disc ordered. Which other 5 should i go for?

I know it sounds radical but why not go for 5 films which you would enjoy watching over and over again and maybe which you don't own already ?

I don't own many films at the moment, i usually just watch whatever is on Sky Movies. But i don't want to fork out for Sky HD and so am going to start a small HD DVD collection for my HD E1 when it comes.

If you cant stand those you probably wont go wrong choosing from these according to taste as PQ will almost certainly not be a problem on any: superman returns or batman begins or harry potter GoF or world trade centre or lady in the lake or miami vice or poseiden. Personally, I'll get the lot and several more...

If you want the best picture quality to show off your new HD-DVD player, you might want to steer clear of some of the titles mentioned above. I find that review websites are the best way to research what's worth getting, and also the Tier System over on the AVS Forums.
