King Kong HD DVD

I just wanted to drop a quick post to say that i am in the very fortunate position of having a 8 minute or so clip of Kong on HD DVD coupled with 5 or so clips of split screen HD vs SD and it is without doubt the best picture i have ever seen.

Truly stunning just wait till you all see it The depth and detail to the image is the best i have ever seen from film content, it ha the exact same wow factor as HD Video material.

Agreed. Will be a show-off disc for HD set-ups then. And thank goodness you can skip that first 50 minutes of dull character blarney in New York: CUT TO THE APE!

I agree, i thought it was a decent film, although i won't want to watch the extended edition as it went on long enough

Re: King Kong HD DVD

The fight scene between Kong and the dinasour sounded amazing on my HT on simple DD - reference material imo. I can't possibly imagine how this will be like on hd dvd.
