Hi, just been trying to help a friend who has been having problems with their Humax PVR-9300T since the Digital Switch Over in the North West.

They have been having problems since the re-tune on 4th November.

1. Welsh Channels instead of North West
2. Some scheduled recordings working, others not.
3. EPG not being populated, or very slow to update.

I've managed to solve issue 1 by manually retuning the PVR to get the North West ITV & BBC Channels instead of the Welsh version.

I think I might also have resolved issue 2, as the Signals on some of the Welsh channels were very flaky.

However there is still an issue with the EPG. Some channels show 7 Days, although it took some time to populate. Others, ITV, C4 & Channel 5 only display entries until Tuesday, even after half an hour!

Is anybody else experiencing similar problems, or have any suggestions. All I can hope is that it is resolved after the 2nd Stage of the switchover on December 2nd.

As an aside, Some programs in the EPG also show in different colour blocks (Light Green for the football tomorrow & the Bodyguard film, Rose colour for some other programs, but I can't remember which programs) I was told this had only changed since the switchover, but cannot confirm this is the case.

Hi Kingymiller I know this is of no help to you but i've got the same problems on my Humax guess we will have to wait for the software update

I have given up with my Humax now until after 2nd December. Freezing, numerous programmes not recorded, pixelation and have not received any software updates for over 12 months. Gone back to my snail Sharp which also displays similar faults but not as frequently. If my Humax does not improve after switchover it's going back to the manufacturer and I will make a claim in the County Court if they don't repair it for free.
