Re: channel has been removed from service offer

As per my Guide+/EPG query, I found the same message using Guide+ for channel selection, but strangely using the alternative EPG system, all channels are fine. Perhaps you can do the same on your system?

Re: channel has been removed from service offer

Hi Mikky

Guide plus is one way of obtaining epg programs, their website is here GUIDE Plus+ / Our Service
On my Pioneer DVD (manual here: Pioneer user manual ) page 34 explains that when setting up you need to choose whether to use the "SI EPG" type or the Guide Plus system. By going back into setup I can change my selection & as I said in my other post, the "normal" EPG is fully functioning, but Guide Plus has missing channels. The manual seems to suggest that SI EPG data is supplied digitally, and I know that Guide PLus data comes from analog ITV. so I'm wondering if I need to rescan my analog channels -I always watch ITV either thru my TV (analog) or the DVD (digital) maybe if I rescan my analog channels on the dvd it might resolve things, altho I was not aware that there had been any changes to analog ITV. I'll try tonight, altho it will then take another day to update, before I know if it has worked.
