Would seem a fair starting point.

Hi. Its set out in the Manual page 131. Use the 'Replace Channels'. Should be straight forward but come back here if you have real problems.

There's a national problem with lcn 33, it's labelled ITV and has ITV2 + 1 contents in the epg

Re: retune sony HXD870 freeview

just bear in mind it will wipe any timers you have stored , so make a note of any timer settings , and add them back in after the replace channels is complete

it will also take a few hours to repopulate your epg so you will see a lot of blanks on ch5 and other affected channels

Can you tell me more on this Graham, I've just asked about it in the freeview updating thread.

It is not just ITV2+1.

Position13 is Channel 4 + 1, and Position 35 is now Virgin 1 +1 (That's if we are both talking about Guide Plus), but neither of these channels appears in the Guide Plus channels grid.

I get around this by setting a couple of the shopping channels that I normally have turned off, to 13, and 35, but it would be much easier to remember if the names on the grid could be edited.

Cheers,

S

Re: retune sony HXD870 freeview

Being an optimist, I am confident that any of the above problems will rectify themselves automatically during the daily updates over the next couple of days.

Mine switches itself on at 10.00am every day for this, Fingers crossed.
