IRS Systems

I can't find any specs for IRS systems - is this a Sky only system?

Is it completely cabled with 2 CT100 cables?

Can it run phone too?

What faceplates should I use?

Re: IRS Systems

If by IRS you mean an "Integrated Receiving System", then the whole point of such a system is to distribute terrestrial, satellite & radio signals, usually to multiple recipients in a block of flats. This website has some information on IRS IRS System Installation | Integrated Receiving Systems | IRS Engineers - Aerial Concepts. I think you will find that you need more than 2 CT100 cables. (I don't think IRS usually includes telephone.)

Re: IRS Systems

What are you trying to achieve?

We put mini IRS systems into our larger house installations and they need 5 cables from the roof, 4 for Sat and 1 of TV, to the IRS switch and then 2 cables per HD / Sky + box away to the rooms.

Re: IRS Systems

Thank you both for your replies. I am trying to set up a communal system for 36 flats, but finding it very difficult to get information on what exactly IRS is.
