My father has the above Loewe Tv. He wants to order Sky Hd service, the tv is 5 years old, is it an HD TV? Also will the sky system simply plug in and work (he has sky+ already)? Can anyone help me to help him? Thanks.

And yes, he should be able to simply plug into one of the HDMI sockets with an HDMI cable.

Incidentally, there are several forums appropriate for your query - but this one is definitely not one of them! It's for comments/queries relating to the phased switch off of analogue terrestrial transmissions, in favour of digital.

PS I now see that the review was for the 32" version, but imagine that Loewe launched the 37" at the same time. To be sure, ask your father if his TV has HDMI ports - if it does then it must be HD.

if memory serves me right from those TV sets, they might of had a DVI connector on them, but 5 years ago, might be pushing it for a HDMI on it.

What connections has it got? i imagine it would have Component and maybe DVI, but not certain
