Is my TV able to accept sky?

Hi, I'm having trouble getting my Hikona TC1400 tv/dvd combi in kithcen to pick up any sky FTV chanels. I know the dish and cable are working fine as I have 3 cables from my quad LNB and the other 2 are working fine with my sky plus in the other room with the main tv.
My hikona has 2 scarts on the back, i've tried via both going in to the sky box tv scart socket, but when i try to get my tv to search for the channels it simply scans through upto 7000 mhz without finding anything. I have the quad LNB connected into the sky box ok.
I'm now thinking that this tv may not be able to work through satellite tv? can anyone help me please, as I don't want to pay for a new TV if this one can be used OK?

y to wast your time, but i've now put in an extra cable in the RF out from the tv and found that it has now worked, how cool is that.

Don't worry about wasting peoples time but this forum isn't used much as it's pretty subject specific and a lot of regulars may never have even seen your original post, glad you are all sorted
