Pace ondigital box and switchover problem

We have had full digital switch off today and I have lost all channels on my pace ondigital digibox (last month BBC2 analogue was switched off and I lost BBC on the pace, I assumed this would be sorted out on full switch off).

The rescan takes less than a second and just says no channels can be found. The signal is fine because I have rescanned my LG tele's digital tuner with no hassle whatsoever, it is picking up 3 or 4 instances of most channels.

What I would like to know is whether this can be fixed by a menu setting or is the old ondigital box finally redundant?

I got it for nothing when freeview first came on air, from a pal who used to have ondigital but switched to Sky, it's worked fine ever since so it's done me well. I'll be sad to see it go though if it's now had it's day.

Oddly, my attempts to find info on this via google have come to nothing, I would have thought ,with the switch-over now underway that loads of people would be having this problem and would have beat me to it in seeking advice. Seems not though, there must be fewer dinosaurs around than I had assumed.

Any help or advice welcomed, cheers.

Re: Pace ondigital box and switchover problem

Ah well, bad news, but at least I know the score now. I'll have to get another box, even though we have a perfectly good freeview tele and a sky+ box.
The ability to have both teles capable of showing non-sky programming is vital to the harmony of our household.

Thanks for the info Fred, as I said, this has been, surprisingly, difficult to get a handle on.
