TV Signal Requirements

Does anyone know what the minimum db uv RF level is for analogue TV (Colour) and Digital TV

45 db DTV
60 db Analogue

but some tv tuners and freeview receivers will accept slightly lower signals.

I always install for 55db and 70 db to give some threshold.

Many that’s great I had a hunt around the internet and could not find the answer, the meter instructions does say peak the BER reading but no mention of the RF, for example I stuck the aerial in the loft as a test and got for one of the digital channels RF 39db uv & BER of 0.00E-0 & 23db Signal To Noise (not sure what the 0.00E-0 means)

That depends on your tuner. You should be able to find the specs in the manual of the receiver you're using.
