The manufacturers blame Digital UK and Digital UK blame the manufacturers. Of course the losers will be the proud owners of their "future proof" digital sets.

Its worth remembering that the spec for UK receivers hasn't changed much since its launch over 10 years ago. The fact that some manufacturers have chosen to ignore some of the finer detail can hardly be blamed on Digital UK.

Have you tried a digital re-tune?

I guess your only option is to buy a set top box.

There is loads of publicity and advice about the switchover all over West Cornwall but no mention (that I have seen) of this list of TVs that will no longer work after switchover. The fact that ITV still works and BBC does not this morning is going to confuse quite a few who own these sets.

Dog,

Is your panny on the list?

There's a PDF booklet on the Digital UK West Country page

http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/__data/as...ntry_nov08.pdf

On page 5 it says: Please note: A few of the oldest digital boxes and TVs will stop working at switchover. This includes all ONdigital equipment and a limited number of digital boxes and TVs sold before 2005. Affected TVs can be upgraded with a new digital box. You can find a list of products affected at digitaluk.co.uk/2kequipment. That goes to your list.

When did you buy your TV?
