Up until yesterday, we had no digital signal whatsoever, and a fairly poor analogue reception from a satelite transmitter in the Huntshaw Cross group (N Devon). I must admit that I was fairly anxious about the quality of the digital signal we might receive after the switchover. I thought I'd need to change my aerial and all the coax cables to be able to get a decent service.

However, I have been extremely surprised! Yesterday morning I tuned our TV's into the new digital signal and it is fantastic. The picture quality is excellent, far better than the old analogue one, even though we are using old coax cables and a fairly rickety old aerial (not quite coat hanger stuff, but not far off!!).

If anyone else has doubts over the switchover, from our experience, don't worry!!!
