What happens to the analogue tuner?

As above, can/will there be OTA updates to disable completely or remove the analogue tuner from the menus?

The reason I ask is that my main TV in the living room goes back to the last channel watched when I switch off something connected via scart, whether it be digital or analogue. But the TV in the bedroom automatically defaults to analogue TV when the VCR connected by scart is switched off.
I asked the manufacturer about this and they said that the software works that way. But when I pointed out that it would be daft if that were to happen once analogue has gone, they admitted I had a point and they hadn't really thought about that!

So, what will happen............if anything?

Re: What happens to the analogue tuner?

The TV in the bedroom (fairly sensibly) assumes that if a VCR is connected and not via SCART then the VCR will output to the TV through the VCR's modulator (which is analogue) via the TV's aerial socket.
It wouldn't be much use disabling it as quite a few folks wouldn't be able to play their VHS tapes etc. if that happened.
Another factor is the large number of Sky digiboxes around where people use the RF2 socket's analogue output.
