Hey all - I'm new to all this so please be gentle with me :-)

I have a quick query reagrding my camera and thought I would post on here to see if anyone would be kind enought to offer some advive.

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-T20 model...coming up to about 2 years old... for the last few months the camera has not been working properly and I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this fault.

When I turn the camera on and turn the lens cover slider down and try to take a picture - I keep getting the same message displayed on the screen 'Lens closed!' even though its open...hence I am unable to take a picture :-(

Any advice / help is greatly received
