Help with Sigma 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Macro lens for Minolta SLRs

I have spotted this lens on evilbay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=230340229051), but can't find the exact thing on Dyxum having checked photo comparisons as well. Haven't had a response from the seller so wondered if anyone would know if this would work with a Sony DSLR
