Find me a camera!

I am currently on the hunt for a new camera. I own an old Cannon EOS 300 SLR and a compact 7.0 megapixel Kodak compact camera. My budget is up to £200 but I want an all round camera that will cover most amateur needs. If someone can recommend some options it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
