[I want a plasma]

Hi all,
after some help if you would.....
This will be my first DSLR....i have a budget of about £420....
i am looking at Sony DSLR-A350 Digital SLR Camera with 18-70mm Lens.
Any advice ???
Any others you think are better for the money ??

10 out of 10 for the A350 from me

Go for it ........

The A350 is a good cam but you do sacrifice some image quality for the tech. The range of Sony lenses is also getter better by the month. I would be inclined to go body only and buy a better after market lens. The 18-70 kit lens is not particularly good and you will only upgrade it anyway.

if you aint handled one yet then i would go and handle the canon / nikon / pentax equivalents , i found the sony to be uncomfortable in my hands and settled on the canon 1000d , a camera is an extension of you , if it does not feel comfortable then you may find it annoying you to the point of uselessness
