Hello.
I am in need of a messenger type bag to accommodate my Canon40D with Grip and Sigma 70-200 2.8; pref with room for other lenses.
Does such a thing exist?
I currently have the Crumpler Tallee (I think) and its too small for my needs.
Can anyone recommend anything?

Cheap and cheerful is the way forward remember!

I use a Red Snapper sy618. Fits my D300 with sigma 24-70 attetched, a 70-200 standing on end, flash & 50mm. Plenty of pockets for stuff and a rain cover. Great bag IMHO linky

Its now £58

So keep looking daily and you might get a bargain

I just bought a Crumpler Messenger Boy 7500. It fits my 40D with 17-55 attached, 70-200 F2.8 IS, 430EX and 10-22 perfectly. I paid £69.99 for it from Jacobs only last week and I've used it twice already! Money well spent!

that sounds good.. still a little pricey for my liking but might pick up a used one at a decent price. Does the 40D with attached 70-200 fit in? The IS is bigger than my Sigma 70-200 so if yours fits then mine will!

As well as my crumpler I do have a Tamrac Expedition 5 which is about right, size-wise but its just not as handy as a messenger bag would be.

I recently picked up a Lowepro Vertex 100AW

Holds my body, 5 lenses, flasgun and a few bits and bobs with some space to spare. It also has a laptop sleeve that I actually use as a space for snacks and a waterproof. However, the main reason i went for this is the tripod holder, which holds my Manfrotto 190 nice and secure.

I picked mine up for a smidge under £60 from here

Its a nice bag.. wish I had seen that before I bought my Tamrac!!
I am after a quick access messenger style bag that would fit my gear but thinking that one doesnt exist below £60

same reason why i went for the vertex 200 plus it has loads of compartments and can take a 15.4" widescreen laptop

also just got the primus aw from wilkinson cameras for £49. will take a body plus 2 lenses and it has a seperate compartment above for more camera stuff or a jacket and personal things etc
