Picasa exports not sharp

I'm a big fan of Picasa. However, since the update to Picasa 3, I've noticed that after a bit of processing, the images I export (for example to a desktop folder) seems to have lost some of their sharpness. Has anyone else experienced this or can anyone explain what's happening?

Re: Picasa exports not sharp

Are you resizing or reducing the jpeg quality on export?

I used to find with picasa2 that too much playing with a photo could hurt the overall finish. Sharpening could sometimes introduce noise in the sky etc. But I haven't really used Picasa3 much since I now use Lightroom 2.

Have you tried exporting a photo with no tweaks and no resizing or reduction in jpeg quality to see if it is as sharp as the original?
