GGS Screen Protector?

Is it any good?, I use the Brando Ultra Clear ones on my PDA'a and cut one to size for a Canon Compact, and plan on doing the same for the D60, but is the GGS any good since it fits the whole bezel?

Re: GGS Screen Protector?

I have one of these for the D700 - it came with both a rear screen protector and a top lcd protector. Easy to fit and much nicer than the plastic Nikon protector. Got mine on ebay from Hong Kong. One word of warning - they are quite brittle and will shatter if you bend them. I found this out the hard way removing one from the packaging - that was for the D300 which I've not got around to replacing yet.

Re: GGS Screen Protector?

I've been thinking about one of these for my D60 but wondered if they were any good or not.

There is a UK seller selling them for £8.50, a couple of quid more than the Hong Kong sellers.

Think I may take the plunge

Re: GGS Screen Protector?

Did you get one, about to order mine for £8.50, I tried one of them Brand Ultra Clear ones, cut it to the right size but couldn't get the screen clean enough, the D60 is one hard to clean screens, as you always get losts of small dots of dust residue left behind not matter how long you spend cleaning it.. once you get dust under the brando you got no chance of cleaning it...

Re: GGS Screen Protector?

I have a GGS LCD protector on my A200 and it's great. Very clear and doesnt catch reflections any more than the actual LCD. You hardly even notice it's on. Got it dirt cheap from eBay HK
