Which kit lens would you opt for from the 17-85 and the 18-200. I like the look of the 18 200 but am a bit put off by the distortion at full telephoto.

I have a canon 40d which came with the 17-85 lens, it was good but for me i got annoyed with it not having a constant aperture and not being fast enough in low light. i sold that and replaced it with the 17-55 2.8 is lens, its quite a bit more expensive but its amazing, wish id never got a kit lens.
