ive tried taking the same pic using the different templates, as well as the one i have to pre-program. its my gf sleeping on the couch in a main room lit only by a lamp...

for some reason, the best quality pic i got was from the landscape mode. it lit the fireplace behind her up really well as well as her herself...any reason why this could be? surely landscape isnt the best setting for an indoor shot at night?!

when i set to landscape, what is it the camera is doing exactly? to aperture, shutter speed, iso etc..?

what i ideally want is to set it to "P" and set EVERYTHING myself!
