Question Batteries for Canon SX1?

Anyone recommend me some rechargeable batteries for my soon to arrive SX1?

I have been looking at some2800mAh AA's and one ofthese.

Is that the sort of thing that would suite me best?

Re: Batteries for Canon SX1?

How was the SX1, obviously the 50D is another ball game, however i am not photographer and don't do it as a hobby, just want a good camera for taking good pictures at family events days out etc. My compact is worse than my phone at taking pictures at present

Re: Batteries for Canon SX1?

I was disappointed with low light stuff (Should have read up more really) and the manual flash activation.
The zoom was outstanding as was the video quality (Need a high spec PC for playback) but I am not really interested in video at this point.
If you can, have a play with one first so you are sure before you buy...
