Tips for shooting Race Cars

Will be going to Race of Champions next weekend it will be the first time for the my Canon 450D and 55-250mm zoom, Any advice would be greatly apreciated

Standard Wembley rules. But when I went to the NFL game a few weeks ago the guy in front of me was using a Canon 350D and a 100mm Macro (!). I'm pretty sure he took the body in and his wife took the lens in.

They weren't the only ones - there were lots of SLRs all over the place (and I sat there in a grump as I left mine at home).

I think you'd get it in but it's up to you if you're willing to take the risk.

Last year at ROC the guy in front of me had a large DSLR.

Since i've just spent 200quid on a lens i'm going to take it anyway and hope the the festive season helps me out.

it's a stupid rule anyway

haha at least Jensen Button will have at least one more race..........

Seriously though have a good time, I wanted to go to this but I couldn't afford a ticket with the kind of view I expect at a race....
