as above?

looking for a scanner to do both pref, unless a reasonable scanner just for negatives is considerably easier to use and not too expensive...

Thanks in advance!

I've got the epson V100, I like it I've used it to do a couple of canvases for people in the past can't say I've gotten around to trying negatives on it though, posted a link with some Amazon reviews for it :

Amazon.co.uk: Customer Reviews: Epson Perfection V100 Photo Scanner

EDIT : Think they've replaced mine with the V200 since purchase

You really need to say a budget as one person's 'not too expensive' is another's 'how much!!!'.

the epson looks good, and great price!

well i was thinking about the £100 mark...but that depends upon how good it is! ie if there is a substainlly better and easyier to use one for say £150...then that would be worth considering!!

thanks!

I would suggest one of the Epson V500's, they'll handle your photos, slides, 35mm and 2 1/4" negs. No warm-up time plus Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 (Windows) and all for less than £125 inclusive.

I've owned mine for about a month and it definitely works well, the film holders are flimsy but fortunately I had some older more substantial ones and I doubt you'll be disappointed
