Took my new D90 on its first outing to the Natural History Museum in London. I just love the way you can push the ISO up and still get clean shots in low light. The VR on the 18-105 kit lens works well too. These were all hand held.
Popped into the Wildlife Photographer awards exhibition. Some superb shots on show there.

1. Shadows.

4. Arches.

Thanks all, yes I am loving the D90. As the weather was not that good last week I did not get out with it much, but I am still getting used to all the different buttons, much more than my old D50. I love the ISO range and also the dynamic range. I haven't played that much with video yet, but what I have seen looks promising. Live view might come in handy for awkward macro shots, but would be much more useful if the screen was articulated.

#2 for me Mike, good post this for me as I think it's given me a bit more confidence to push the D300 beyond my current ISO 800 limit. Looks like another cracking budget lens the 18-105 as well based on your pics.
