Canon 50D

Canon 50D £680 body only, arrived today and had a little play around with it this evening. I think it will take a bit of time to get used to it after the 400D.
I will give it a proper run this weekend when I go to my place in the Wye Valley. I will post some shots and see if all the stick it's been getting is justified or not.

I think it's a good camera. It probably just gets stick as it's not really a big leap up from the 40D which people were expecting bar a couple of things and the ISO performance on the 40D seems to be better

Hi,

just remember to switch off HTP ( Highlight Tone Priority ) and ALO ( Auto Lighting Optimizer ) settings as with these off it will really improve image sharpness. They are in image customs functions within the menu, C.Fn II: Image, 3 and 4.

I would have it but its cost just puts me off..+ Im havg great difficulty caling the 30/40D "old"..

I bought it private on Ebay (Without the fees!) cost me €750!

Month old with 700 shot's taken!

450D with kit lens anyone! 6 weeks old
