Find a camera with the following specs:

I am after a 3-4 megapixel camera with video with sound capcity, that also uses SD media.

I'm currently looking at the Konica KD410Z but that stretches my budget.

I was lokking at the Samsung Digimax V4 & Casio Exilim EX-Z3

Are these any good or can anyone else recommend something.

Budget £300 (excl VAT)

Mainly as my laptop has a SD slot which does make life a lot easier.

Still it doesn't have to be SD format.

If it doesn't have to be SD, I would recommend the Canon A70 - you can get it for £240 saving enough to buy memory cards.

I will have a look around and see what I can find

Unfortunately it looks as if the SD Card is used by:

Minolta, Pentax, Panasonic, Samsung, Casio and Kodak.

I wouldn't recommend cameras by any of these companies in this price range.

This is the range on the
Jessops website as an example.

I would go with the A70, Compact Flash and get a PCMCIA adapter for the laptop. You can get the adapter for around £30 I think.
