Lyme Park - Cheshire

I decided to put my National Trust Membership to some use today despite the weather not being the best. Best £14 I ever spent

Re: Lyme Park - Cheshire

The weatherman couldn't have got it more wrong today. He forecast rain all morning brighter in the afternoon after 12pm.

Ended up being a bright morning and terrential rain started at 12pm

Glad I made the effort to go early.

Re: Lyme Park - Cheshire

Quality.
The deer have been captured very well.
The first one stands out. I'd maybe have cropped out a bit of the water but I do like the symmetry you've got with the composition.

Whereabouts in Cheshire is this? I could look it up but I figure asking is more social.

Re: Lyme Park - Cheshire

Good set of shots. #1 is really good I like the angle and the B&W but can't help feel that there's too much empty foreground.
#3 I like a lot.
#5
#6 Great old building. I like the jaunty angle. What is the building do you know?

The Building in number 6 is called 'The Cage'. Its a hunting lodge. I believe back in the old days the women used to watch the men hunting from there

Re: Lyme Park - Cheshire

Hello there.

Nice set of shots.

That crop of #1 really works well.

#4 a very good shot, with lovely blue sky behind the deer. Did you use a CP filter on these.

Cheers Holo

Thanks for your kind comments. No I didn't have a CPL on at all, it stayed in my bag for this lens.
