Greedy Spider

I know spiders have been done to death recently but when i saw what he was having for dinner i had to share. Doubt he will though

Great capture. The lighting brought out the texture in the leaf well too. Looks like a garden spider munching on some sort of pupa. Any idea what?

Not too sure what he`s got but it was a least an inch and a bit long There was a fair bit of web damage and some moth type powder (what ever its called) around and about.

Should keep her going for a while then!
I had a look in the insect book I've got - Collins Field Guide - not very forthcoming!
Moth or butterfly is as close as I can get for an i.d.

We do get quite a few of the light brownish conical bodied moths about. The fury ones, if that helps
