Re: Bonnie Scotland

Those are fantastic Some Bloke. Really beautiful. The 1st 4 are the best for me but the rest aren't exactly rubbish! Thanks for sharing.

Re: Bonnie Scotland

A great set! 1,2 and 4 are my favorites, I think the PP on number 3 is a bit overdone.

How did you do the panorama?

Nice set - very dramatic.

Great B&W conversion in the first.

Re: Bonnie Scotland

Thank you Comrades

Th original Pano was much bigger in dimensions and MB size, but ImageShack only accept 1 MB and smaller.
I shot the Pano as a 3 shot bracket and was going to turn it into a HDR Pano.
But PTGUI Pro, wouldn't stitch it without errors, so I just stitched it as a single exposure Pano.
I set the camera on manual expose and focus.

Sorry I didn't mean an offence to anyone, I apologise if anyone is offended.

How can that possibly be offensive? We're all grown ups, and it was clearly just a jest.

Apologies to the OP for taking this off topic. It just annoys me when people choose to be offended by the slightest thing. Just to somehow reinforce their national identity.

If you want, we can do this in Welsh or Gaelic

Re: Bonnie Scotland

Nice set! Maybe a bit over saturated, and maybe an HDR look, but all really striking and well composed shots.

Re: Bonnie Scotland

Cracking set. I love the first four.

By the way, I was reading "Waiting for the light" by David Noton and came across a photograph of Eilean Donan Castle which reminded me of yours above ... not the other way around which must say something about the quality of your photographs!

Cheers.

I saw you lived in wales and was trying to make a joke
seems like youve done that which annoys you. Sorry to everyone else was really just a throw away remark
tactless is probably more what I meant.
