Bournemouth Beach. Sunny Sunday.

The weather was like a Summer day yesterday & we went for a walk along the beach, in shirt sleeves. Here are some of the photo's I took.

1. I wanted to take some Surfers, but there wern't any, however there was a group of beginners, here are a couple of them.

2.

3. Then we came across some Seagulls (strange that)

4.

5. Then a little further we came across Two Oyster Catchers

6.A people Carrier. The Bournemouth Belle.

7. I noticed a boat behaving erratic near the pier so walked towards it. It seems its a new attraction. A large speefboat called 'Shockwave'. It goes fast then turns either way very fast, breaks fast etc. Here are a couple of photo's of it. They are cropped & unfortunately it was a little misty but at least you get the idea.

8.

That's All Folks. Hope you like them & C&C welcome.

Number 1 doesn't look like a beginner to me! Having tried surfing, that wasn't something they taught at beginner level... it was much more like "try and stand up and not fall off"!

Some nice shots there - the boat is a jetboat by the looks of things - we went on a couple in New Zealand and they're great fun. Some nice shots in there, and it's nice to be able to enjoy places like that in October.

Re: Bournemouth Beach. Sunny Sunday.

The two surfers and the gull in flight are very nice captures.

The horizon on the first Shockwave shot tilts to the left. Talking of Shockwave I got this shot earlier this year

The tide was going out at the time. It levels out at the change of tide.
Did you take you photo of Shockwave from the pier?
