Duck Heads... & a question about a bird.

A few I took in Spain.

1

2

3. DA

4 Ahh the prettier end.

5

6 Like water off a Ducks back.

7. Heavily cropped but, What is this? The best I can come up with is some kind of Spoonbill.

Thanks for looking. C&C welcome.

A Flying Spoonbill?

BTW I think your first duck is a goose, but I am not an expert on Spanish birds (despite a few trips to the Balearic Islands ) I think number 2 is the best shot, but 4 and 5 win on cuteness.

It seems one of the differences is a Goose has a long neck, what does that make a Swan? an ugly Gooseling.

There's no doubt no's 4 & 5 are the cutest but my favourite is No 6, the water on the Ducks back. It was difficult to get a good shot of that, as you don't know when the Duck is coming back up. I'm a little dissapointed in the loss of sharpness from the original to the lower quality picture via Flickr.
