Canon PowerShot A720 - Battery Problem.

Helllo..

The problem: The camera takes barely 40 pics with fully charged batteries.

Solution I thought was: send it back to the Canon repairs and they should work out what the problem is. I had written a note + called them when I sent the camera. But, they sent it back to me with a note "no fault found".

Called them up again - response - "check your batteries" . well I know I am not an expert but I'm not that bad!

What next? Any suggestions?!

The batteries work perfectly well. I can take more than 600 pics with my Fuji S5600 with the same set.

Re: Canon PowerShot A720 - Battery Problem.

Well the Canon uses 2x AA and the Fuji 4x AA, I agree there is a huge difference between the two with regards to how many shots you're able to get out of a set of batteries before they are exhausted though, but you also don't mention the capacity of the batteries you're usuing!

For the Canon I would suggest going out and buying the highest capacity batteries available, don't know why Canon decided to run their later Powershots off 2x AA only as my old A75 used to use 4!
