My first macro photos

Got my first macro lens on saturday, so have been out in the garden trying it out. Alot more difficult than I imagined, dof much shorter than I thought it would be, here are my first few atempts.

Tiny snail with one eye poking out.

Re: My first macro photos

The snail shots are classics, real character to them

Maybe try a square crop on the one-eyed snail, think it might work better.

Re: My first macro photos

Snail on the move is a beauty. Level of detail in the spider shot is very imressive.
Nice one.
