Monitor profiling software?

I'm having a bad time here with my printer and laptop monitor. I've just got a custom profile back for the printer and paper I use (excellent service from permajet, turned it around in a day!). However the prints don't match the monitor particularily.

So I guess I need to calibrate the monitor and create a new ICC profile. I have expensive hardware but I don't have the funds for software to do this. Does anyone know of any free software that will do the profiling and can talk to x-rite/gretagmcbeth i1Pro spectrophotometer?

Re: Monitor profiling software?

Hi,

I would try looking at coloreyes display pro - I work in colour management for print and repro and it's very good software.

You can download the demo which allows 10 "launches" in 10 days (check your PM).

Cheers,

Matthew
