Fulbourn FC vs. Fordham FC

First chance to play with the new 400mm lens, along with my first attempt at football pics, something I'd like to get into a bit more.

Fulbourn were winning 3-0 by the time I left.

Id Like to try sports just for fun...

I like these...Nice and sharp and I notice that you thought that that guy weilding his dreads would make a cool focal point.

Nice shots, very sharp and some great facial expressions. Did you just turn up at the ground and blag your way in or was there some official process involved?

Nice action and a good start but alas no ball which is a shame.

Keep going though

I like the first one - it looks like he's wearing one of those silly hats you see when you go skiing.

There's a nice ball in the 3rd one though, but the players are facing the wrong way unfortunately.

Good work - lets see some more. As Pete says, get the ball in the shot.

I would agree nice effort, however remember

Only 5 type sell

Goal scoring
Goal celebrating
Sending offs

Head and shoulder and full length stock (depending on the client)

Finally and this is not a dig, open the lens a little further, 3 is a good shot spoiled by fat bald bloke bottom lhs.

Re: Fulbourn FC vs. Fordham FC

Have to agree with many comments here.

#1 and #2, while interesting, would have a lot more impact if the ball is in frame.

#3 could be cropped tighter, even just from the players hips up, to just show their upper bodies and the ball.

Always fun to try new things and sports. Practice, practice, practice.
