Bless her little wellies!

I suppose anyone selling them, and Brollys will be feeling the credit crunch a liitle less!

I like the way the flash lightens her up without making her look harsh and your catching the water splash in mid air ( so to speak)

Re: At least somebody likes this weather.

Is that a standard flash or one of these big buggers that u can twist etc, speedlite or whatever their called?

I always try and avoid flash as my shots look harsh to say the least.

Thats a cracking shot, so well lit as Senu says.

Matt

Re: At least somebody likes this weather.

For this kind of shot where I want to tone the background down a touch, I set it up on manual mode - 1/500th, about 1.5 - 2 stops underexposed. Then set up the SB 800 in manual mode at about 1/2 power. 1/500th is the max sync speed for the D50 - I use it to allow me more creative control over aperture - and it's handy when you want to freeze a little puddle splashing (or jumping)

She is growing fast - it all happens so quickly!

Re: At least somebody likes this weather.

I like what you've done with the slightly underexposed background, but to me it looks like it (the background) is lacking a bit of contrast. Other than that it's a very nice capture.

Very nicely done (as usual)

Looks like Rosa has replaced Dylan as the unpaid model
