Double moon? Why??

Please help! see the pic.. why the ghost image (second moon)?? what can I do to avoid it?? Tia.

My guess is that you had a skylight / UV filter on the lens. Remove the filter & you won't get this.
ijd's suggestion that you use a polarizer might help to reduce the reflection from the surface of the water but it won't correct the ghosting.

Thanks guys.. maybe that was the UV filter. I'll try removing it.
