Take it easy Fletch

If you go back through the threads you'll see that loads of posts don't get responded to straight away or sometimes, at all.

Welcome to the forum.
There's a really good bunch on this forum and you'll get loads of help and advice so stick with it.

Your shots aren't bad.
I think sunsets look better if any foreground is in sillouette, with no detail. In your first two the building are showing partial detail which detracts a little.
If doing straight sillouette though a stronger or more defined skyline helps.
I quite like your third shot though because it ticks these boxes.
Just my opinion though and others may feel different - thats art for you.

Keep them coming though

Also 9pm Saturday night til 9am Sunday morning is not a good time for everyone to be on the forum.

I've only posted 1 picture on this forum, and no one said anything for that either

I like the composition in the second one best.

Re: sun rise

Getting comments is a bit hit and miss, especially at the weekend, so try not to feel discouraged. You have had over a hundred views which at least is something and the fact of the matter is that most viewers don't post a comment.

Middle picture works the best for me although I find the trees at left rather distracting. Look forward to seeing your future posts .
