Nice light on the cliffs. I think you should have moved to to right a bit to seperate the stump from the land as it doesn't have the impact it should in my opinion.

Very nice light, but I would have composed the shot differently - I would have moved more to the right so that the lump of upright wood did not merge with the distant land.

Appreciate the advice gents, I think I'll do some more work to do this one instead I remember that troubled me at the time that stump

That is much better........I'd probably crop it in the same size format taking out the bottom and left hand side, that'll tighten up the composition and put the stumo more on the third.......just my immediate thoughts.

Great location, and nice shots.

The second one works better in terms of composition for obvious reasons. I think it might have been even stronger if you'd gotten a little closer though, to make more a feature of the stump.

Good stuff though
