Circular Polarizer

Hi all.

Could anyone recommend a decent circular polarizer to go on my Canon 24-105 F/4.0 L IS lens?

I have a Hoya Pro1 D polarizer on my 17-85 F/5-5.6 IS USM lens but I'm not convinced it's as good as it could be - the quality doesn't seem great.

Is it important to use a polarizer made for digital cameras? That seems odd to me.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for reading,

Ryan

Re: Circular Polarizer

I use a 77mm Hoya one on my 24-105. Quality of the glass is good and it polarises well, but I've had the glass separate from the screw-in bit a couple of times which is disappointing. Usually this happens when I'm unscrewing it and being a bit too forceful.
