Re: A few Kay Portraits from Polesden Lacy

Nice set. I've a couple of comments if you don't mind: I did think the first one looked a tiny little bit over (maybe 1/3..?), but the more I look, the more I think it's probably ok actually. I can't help thinking that it might have been nicer if the in focus flowers on the left weren't there, but I can see that it was done on purpose and why - just personal choice I guess (same with 3).

The third has an exposure problem of another nature imo - not extreme, but I don't think it was intentional or complements the tone I think you were going for.

Sorry to sound so negative

Nice set
Im not sure of no3, ( The pose ie)

and No4 is great but there is a a little color cast , Intentional? or is it my eyes juxtaposing the background field onto the lady?
hard to say but her top is white enough
No2 is Very nice ; The larger one on flickr shows just how good

And
The reworked no 1 is a nice version but I think the original wasnot bad the way it was

Really nice set of pictures here.

I think #4 is my favourite, I just can't decide whether the brightness of the background distracts from the subject a little especially towards the top left corner. Shows the versatility of the macro lens these pics.
