Lost My MoJo - Time To Get It Back !

Howdy,

So you may have noticed my lack of posts, heck even my lack of Flickr updates over the past number of weeks. Work has gotten so crazy, along with business travel.

Along the way I've kinda lost my photography MoJo a bit. I'm over here in Houston and finally had a few minutes at the weekend spare so thought I'd head out and take some photos. It just wasn't there, came back a deflated man !

Well rather than sit about and mumble it's time to get my photo mojo back ! I'm flying back this evening and off to Cornwall (this time not business) at the weekend so I'm hoping to kick things back into gear then !

I did pick myself a nice little 50mm 1.8 for $90 which was nice

I'm having this problem at the moment. It's happened before.

Something will click into place - perhaps a new location will stoke the fires.

Im perhaps a little more motivated in that I do take photos fairly regularly but view tham at 100% find flaws then I cant seem to find any good enough to post.. which makes me pretty low.. and even less inclined to take more
but Hey
The Sun is out, flowers are blooming, Skies are blue... what more encouragement does one need??

Go for it!!, I hear Cornwall is beautiful ..

( Anywhere would be more pretty then West London anyhow!)

Ah you stuck with that.

How about giving yourself a simply task. Take something and collect more than 1 of.

Example:

It does help every now and again.

I am suffering from the reverse, I have been off for the last week so all I have been doing is taking pictures and posting them on flickr. Oh well I only have a few days left before my Internet is cut and I will be saying goodbye for a while.

Been pretty much the same, been on holidays for a week and a half and taken pics on one occasion only. Had a few idea's but never followed any of em up. Still me and a few mates are going down to Manchester tomorrow and were all taking our camera's ..... Hope it gets me out my own personal funk.

Bugger....Wished I was still in Manchester and not on holiday. Could have meet up with you. Its nicer taking pictures in a group

speaking of which .. any AVF group meets coming up ? I could do with a MoJo and Coke

Well I'm back from my holidays and was thinking about ways to get back into the photography too. Haven't taken a single photo for fun in about three months (maybe more).

I think the AVF meet would be good as it may spur me into action. Never actually met anyone from here so that would be good. Never taken many landscape stuff so that would be interesting. I'm pretty bored with London photos now.

If you do find something to get you back into it, then I'd love to know... lol.

I've been thinking about hiring a nice venue (not a studio) and maybe getting something a little different. Spent a couple of hours checking some out on the web last night. We'll see.
