It is getting a bit like a macro shoot-out round here.

Don't get me wrong though. It's great to see the fantastic results and hear how they're achieved.

It's not a shoot-out

Since I got my K10D I can honestly say that a macro lens has been on my camera probably 90% of the time I have owned it.
I now have 5 macro lenses and have finally decided to keep the Vivitar so I think it's time to offload the other on Ebay to get back some of the cash the wife doesn't know I have spent.

You have been taking macros for only 5 weeks and you already have 5 lenses? Yup, you are hooked my friend See you at the support meetings.
FWIW, my Tamron 90mm macro is the lens that is usually on my camera as well.

BTW, is that a Spanish fly?

I'll get my coat.........

Mike

Mike
I have only had a digital SLR for 5 weeks.
I kept buying lenses off Ebay for bargain prices (Couldn't resist) but I have finally decided that the 100mm Vivitar is the keeper of the bunch and so it's time to sell the rest, including the Tamron 90mm.
Saying that, someone put up a Series 1 105mm Vivitar last night and I am highly tempted .... shhh.
