2007 saw us do the following:
- April: Buachaille Etive Mor, Glen Etive, Glen Coe
- July: East Fortune Airshow
- August: Edinburgh Festival cavalcade

2008
- March: Isle of Skye

Got a few ideas floating about at the mo, but it definitely would be great to get another wee meet organised before the year is out.

Here are a couple of suggestions:

August:
Edinburgh Fringe: In a nutshell, a great walkabout experience photographing some mental street artists & candids. Can also be combined with a more general urban walkabout shoot, oh and loads of beer / comedy shows at night

September:
Sat 13th Leuchars Airshow
I'm definitely heading to this, could potentially make a weekend of it e.g. airshow on the saturday and then a tour round the fife coastline on the sunday

Hmmm...I might be up in August in the Lossiemouth area visiting rellies, somewhat known for its fighter jets. I was pondering a trip over to the west coast, higher up around Ullapool as part of that trip. Not sure of dates yet.

I reckon another Feb/March trip next year would be top as well.

Would love to do another trip up north in Feb/March, money might be quite tight for me around then however as I'm getting married in May - should be up for organising something again though!

Right, I'm off on Fri 12th Sep, and Mon 15th is a public holiday if I'm still based in Livingston with the work, so I'm going to be heading up to Crail on the Thursday evening. (My folks own a lodge up there, if in the event they stay at home that weekend, there'll be a couple of spare beds available)

last year we arranged quite a few last-minute festival meets on an ad hoc basis. If we were going to do something a bit more formal this year, I'm free weekends only in August

I've just booked the B&B we stayed in last month. Staying from Thursday to Monday. I am practically salivating remembering the breakfasts there... thank god the sunrise times won't clash!

Yes indeed, Mrs 159 is coming along too. Not sure she'll be up for the sunrise sessions though.
It looks to be about 5 miles away from Crail on the map so fairly handy.

I've got in early and booked (covered) grandstand seats.

The memory of the Eurofighter Typhoon / torrential downpour at East Fortune last year is still with me!

Just bumping this to remind folks... as I received my Leuchars tickets yesterday.

I haven't been around here much - was supposed to get the keys to our new-build on Friday but it's not quite ready, probably a couple of weeks before we get to move in.

Most of my life is in warehouse storage at the moment - so it's a bit chaotic!
