Hi
Went to Rome at the beginning of April...beautiful city but very expensive....here's some of the photos i took.

Yep these first three and the greenhouse one at Kew seem underexposed to me. Nice, but underexposed

Had a play with one of the photos below.

Copied the image, increased brightness and contrast on one and decreased the brightness and constrast on the other and merged them together.

Adjusted the colours slightly.

Let me know what you think?

`After` looks better to me. I am off to Rome in September, could you let me know what was expensive !! Regards Damian.
PS How does the 18-250 suit the 40D ?

Rome was fantastic. Get for photographers.
IMHO everything was expensive...food/drink/gifts......
But defineletly a city to visit.

the 18-250mm lens is great. no need to change lens again and again. covers a great range. highly recommend it

works really well with the 40D. Have a look at my flickr photos for examples.

Have lots of fun in Rome.....bring lots of memory card cos there's lots of things to take photos off.....
